I like to photograph roses, particularly when they are past their prime. In this blog I would like to share with you photographs of roses taken in Adelaide's International Rose Garden, South Australia. It is a beautiful place to visit and observe the roses as they progress through the season. (Please click on individual images to see a larger version.)

Variety
One of the reasons why I enjoy visiting Adelaide's International Rose Garden is because there is so much variety in there, and I never know what I am going to find.

Introducing...
We are fortunate to have in Adelaide, South Australia, an extensive rose garden on the edge of the city known as the the Adelaide International Rose Garden. It is part of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. I frequently visit this garden to photograph the roses. I am particularly drawn to fading roses because of the great variety of formations, textures and colours which they display as they begin to decline.
